Through the generous support of our scholarship sponsors, students from developing countries in Africa, Asia, South America, and Eastern Europe have had the opportunity to study in one of our international graduate programs.

The scholarships are intended for candidates from developing countries and countries in economic transition. Scholarships are granted following a competitive review. Some scholarships are designated to candidates from a particular geographic region or group, as defined by the scholarship donor.

Full scholarships cover tuition, housing, medical insurance, and a monthly living stipend, amounting to approx. 75-90% of the total cost of attending the 12-month MSc program. Candidates are required to provide supplementary funding for the program costs not covered by the scholarship.

Supplementary funding includes the program application fee, refundable tuition deposit, round-trip airfare, and initial living expenses (e.g., food, personal items, transportation) for a period of about two months. Requests for financial assistance with airfare will be considered in certain cases of financial need.

The approx. personal funding required by the candidate is as follows:

  1. Application fee: $80 (late application fee: $100)
  2. Tuition deposit: $500 (refunded to the student at the completion of the program)
  3. Airfare: Depending on country of origin
  4. Initial living expenses: $500 (estimated)

To apply for a scholarship, fill out the Scholarship Application Form and include it in the full application package only after you have been found eligible for the MSc program.

Candidates are urged to seek funding in their home countries and/or from international organizations early in the application process.
